All Years
If you drive, please park legally and thoughtfully for the safety of our children and also the consideration of our neighbours – do not block driveways, park on pavements or across emergency access routes. When walking in and around the school grounds, please keep younger children nearby and scooters and bikes must not be used on school grounds at any time.
Nursery – Take and collect your child directly to the nursery door.
Reception – Take and collect your child from the Early Years building – the doors by their play areas and use the paths. Please do not cut through the grass and bushes.
Years 1 & 2 – Please drop off your child at the front gate near the crossing patrol, please take care near the road. Collection is from the Year 1 and 2 playground, up the path by the chickens. Please wait on the side of the playground where the climbing frame and train is located to enable the teachers to line up with children on the other side. The teachers need to be able to see all their children before passing them over to the parent/carer collecting.
Do not allow children to play on the play equipment and please do not sit on the train.
Year 3 – Please take your children to the Year 3 playground and wait for the doors top open. Do not leave them unattended and you need to ensure they are safely through the doors. If we see any unattended children they will be taken into Scotties with a charge.
Year 4 – Please take your children to the tennis courts and wait for the teachers. Do not leave them unattended and you need to ensure they are safely through the doors. If we see any unattended children they will be taken into Scotties with a charge.
Years 5 & 6 – Children can go onto their playground from 8.30am without an adult – we do not have any staff out before this time. If you want your child to walk without a parent/carer, you will need to put it in writing otherwise the children will wait with their teachers at the end of the day on the playground.
Children in Years 5 and 6 can bring a mobile phone to school however it needs to be handed in to their teacher every morning.
